We have LOA and our travel dates!!

We have received our Letter Seeking Confirmation (LOA) which means that China is formally asking us to adopt Karine. We also have our travel dates! We will be leaving on May 7th. We will be flying to Xi'an city on May 10th and we'll be receiving Karine on that same day. We are so excited! Our plane tickets are being booked today. One step closer!

Karine's Birthday!

Today, Karine is 2 years old! We sent her a package for her birthday and we are thrilled to know that she got it on time! I was getting worried. Purolator told us it would take 4 business days but it actually took almost 2 weeks to get there. Amanda at Starfish sent us some pictures of her celebrating her birthday! Nine more weeks until we can hold her in our arms! I just want the time to go by fast.

We have our LOA!!

We are so excited!! We got the call from our agency last night that they had received our Letter Seeking Confirmation. We will be travelling around May 6th for China. We can't wait!!!! Within 2 weeks, we should get more details and information on our next steps. Next week we'll be going for our travel shots. Ouch!
